EUROPA LEAGUE: POGBA LAUDED FOR IMPACT

Former Manchester United defender Wes Brown was full of praise for Paul Pogba for his impact during the Europa League round of 16 tie with Italian Serie A giants AC Milan last week Thursday. Wes Brown lauded the impact of the Frenchman when he came on at half-time of the second leg clash between Milan and Manchester United at the San Siro on Thursday night. It took him just four minutes to make an impact for his team during the game. He scored the only goal of the game as Manchester United progressed from their last 16 tie with the Rossoneri and into the quarterfinals via a 2-1 aggregate victory over their Italian opponents. Until his introduction into the game, Manchester United were facing elimination by virtue of the away goals rule. Manchester United needed to score at least a goal in the second leg clash between the two European giants at the San Siro after the first leg at the Theatre of Dreams ended in a 1-1 draw and it was Paul Pogba who produced the goods for the Red Devils on his return from injury after two months on the sidelines.
